World, One Mission Hearts Around The World two seperate teams of adult cardiac specialists and surgeons left for Vietnam and Kenya on Oct, 21, 2011. Dr. Robert Jarrett, the team leader and his team will arrive in Vietnam Oct. 23rd and will start their mission on Sunday Oct, 23, 2011 at Choray hospital in Saigon. Hearts Around The World's second team left for Kenya on Oct, 21, 2011. They will arrive Nairobi Oct. 23rd and will start their mission on Sunday at Kenyata National Hospital in Nairobi. The team leader is Dr. Eli Gelfand (cardiologist) from Boston, and Dr. Cary Passik from Danbury Hospital is our team surgeon. The team included Dr. Robert Jarrett (cardiologist), Dr. Eli Gelfand (cardiologist) and Dr. Cary Passik (cardiothoracic surgeon). dedicated to providing cardiovascular education in third world nations.
Hearts Around the World will sponsor teams of cardiac surgeons, cardiologists,
anesthesiologists, nurses and technologists who will travel to other
nations with the goal of teaching their physicians the latest therapies
and surgical techniques in the fight against cardiovascular disease.
